Structure and Governance
Strategic Orientation Committee
The role of the Strategic Orientation Committee (COS) is to establish CQDM's strategic and scientific orientations. It decides on the themes of calls for proposals and selects letters of intent. It also carries out the functions of a scientific board and a steering committee. The COS is made up of members from the pharmaceutical industry, members representing biotechnology companies and the academic milieu, one member from the Fonds de la Recherche en Santé du Québec (FRSQ) and one member from CQDM. The COS also includes observers from different institutions with an interest in CQDM's activities, such as Health Canada and other government departments.
